Does anyone know how to get into the boot.ini through the
prompt? My Windows 2000 stopped booting up and I have been
trying to figure out how to get into teh boot.ini to fix
it. I tried copying it from a diskette to the c drive but
it says it can not find the boot.ini on the floppy.
Thanks for your help.

See tip 2037 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com

Use the ATTRIB command
attrib -r -s -h c:\boot.ini

Then replace it from your floppy or other disk source.
