There are a couple of settings: /NoExecute=OptIn (enables DEP for Windows system files) /NoExecute=OptOut (enables systemwide DEP) /NoExecute=AlwaysOn (enables systemwide DEP without pssibility of individual application exclusion) /NoExecute=AlwaysOff (disables DEP completely) It's a normal setting
