As recommended by an audit, we need to restrict
permissions on the following files: boot.ini,
ntdetect.com, ntldr. The audit states that they are in the
root of C. I cannot find them. I have "show hidden files"
turned on. Where are these files?

You also need to turn OFF "Hide protected operating system files" to see
these.
