Boot ini configuration to boot from mirror disk

Hi! I have a computer with 2 80 GB disks running in
Windows 2000. The first partition which is the system
file is mirrored. I would like to find out how will I
recover when my system in disk 0 crashed. I've read
several posts already but couldn't do it still. I think
I'm having problem with my boot.ini configuration.

Here's the edited boot.ini:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINNT="My
Server" /fastdetect

What is the correct configuration when my mirror is in
disk 1 partition 1?

Hope you could help me.

Thanks

- You can boot a server with just the first of the two mirror disks.
- You cannot boot the server with the second of the two mirror disks,
unless you use a Win2000 boot floppy disk. See also
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;113977
- You can install the second disk in some other Win2000 machine
as a slave disk and access every folder.

And here is how to make a Win2000 boot disk:

- Format a floppy disk on some other Win2000 PC.
Don't do it on a Win9x PC - it won't work.
- Copy these files from the \i386 folder of your Win2000 CD
to A:\
ntldr
ntdetect.com
- Copy c:\boot.ini to the floppy disk

Thanks for the quick reply. But shouldn't I edit the
boot.ini file when booting to the second disk? Like
making rdisk(0) to rdisk(1) since the second disk is
configured as disk 1? I was able to create the fault
tolerant disk already with the files you've mentioned but
I still experience bluee screen when I boot usinf the
floppy disk

The boot diskette is meant to be used in case the
primary mirror disk has been removed from the system.
