I have genuine Vista Business Upgrade DVD and I cannot boot from it even I
upgraded my DELL Optiplex 745 with this DVD from XP pro.
I can boot from Windows XP CD.
I get the following message when I try to boot from the DVD.
"Selected boot device not available - strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup
utility".
I asked DELL tech for help and they said media is bad which does not make
sense because I used it to upgrade Windows XP.
I upgraded BIOS and DVD firmware with no success.
