Boot error: ACLs floppy.sys are not proper

Guest

Hi

I have a boot error that Startup repair can't fix...

----------------
Root cause found:
ACLs on file C:\windows\system32\drivers\[]floppy.sys are not proper. Old
value = 0x0

Repair action: Access Control Repair
Result Failed. Error code = 0x2
----------------

Weird thing is, []floppy.sys where "[]" = square tab character..in command
prompt it appears as ?floppy.sys

Any suggesstions?

Hello
Can you attempt to rename the file to sfloppy.sys?
I think the character [] or ? is causing the issue with properly resetting
the acls
From an elevated cmd prompt:
try ren ?floppy.sys sfloppy.sys

Thanks,
