How can i create a startup disk for win 2000 pro? I want to reformat my hard drive but can only find how to do it for 98 and xp

Boot your machine with your Win2000 CD, pretend to go through an
installation, then select "Format" when prompted.

Lynn -
- the W2k CD is directly bootable. If your BIOS allows you to boot from
it, set the BIOS boot selection to do that.
- if you can't do the above, create the 4 setup floppies from the W2k
CD. Navigate (on any W2k machine) to the CD's \bootdisk directory, and
run makeboot.exe. Have 4 formatted floppies ready.

As you probably know, the W2k install process will allow you to delete,
create, and format partitions as you wish.
