I need some examples of what bookmarks are used for in every day Word docs?

Please help......

Bookmarks are used for:

1) Identifying a place to go to using the object browser.
2) Holding text to be repeated elsewhere in a document using a REF field (or
in a different document using an IncludeText field).
3) With "online forms."
4) With macros to identify locations in a document.

Most of the ways bookmarks are used are transparent to the user. When you
create a cross-reference or a table of contents, Word inserts hidden
bookmarks around the caption or other cross-referenced item or the heading
that is included in the TOC. User-inserted bookmarks can be used for the
purpose of providing a target for a hyperlink or cross-reference or to
define a text range to be represented by a BARCODE field. These are just a
few examples.
