Booklet Question

I am creating a booklet for 8.5Wx11L paper that will be a 5.5Wx8.5L booklet.
I have set up the page margins to be .5 inches on top, bottom, left and
right. When I look at the document, it looks fine as it fills up the page..
However, when I print, it gets compacted into a 3.5Wx5.5L space on the
5.5Wx8.5L page size. For some reason I get this large margin on all sides. Is
there some option that I seem to be missing that would allow this to fill the
page as I see it in the document?

Hi Paul-

Depending on the complexity of the doc, these specs may not be perfect, but
see if it helps.

First, it sounds like you will actually be printing on Letter paper, so in
Page Setup>Paper that's what you should use. Then go to the Margins Tab, set
the Orientation to Landscape & in the Pages section choose '2 pages per
sheet' from the Multiple Pages list. Set your margins to .5" all the way
around if you wish, but note that you now have 'Inside' & 'Outside' margins
rather than Left & Right.

Does the document contain tracked changes or comments? If so, Word is
allowing space for the "balloons."
