BOINC screensaver "enable" greyed out in software explorer VistaUl

All of my other recurrent programs will move to the permitted classification
on reboot once "allow" is clicked once. I've reinstalled this application 4
times and every restart I must "run blocked program."

The BOINC client is not a malicous program and I'd like it set as a
permitted application.

Thank you,

Kelly

I added the folder to the exceptions but it makes no difference.

Let me clarify what's happening. Every time the machine restarts, the bubble
pops up that windows has blocked some programs. I can right click and run
blocked program, then allow in UAC and it runs, but I have to do this EVERY
reboot and it's very annoying since every other program just needed to be
allowed once.

Just out of interest. Do you have the box checked to notify you about
"Changes made to your computer by software that is allowed to run". ?

Hello,

I have the exact same problem, so any help would be great.

Thx.
Steven

I also tried adding the program to the execptions list but with no result
and no the option "Changes made to your..." is not active.

regards,
Steven

As you can see this is still not resolved, please help us!

It is surprising to me such a simple problem cannot be resolved even after
more than an entire month has gone by.

My confidence in the quality of Microsoft products is slowly eroding :(

Thanks for continuing to work on this.

Kelly, This has nothing to do with Microsoft Products. You have posted the
message in th wrong newsgroup and you were unfortunate to meet our Mr/Ms
Engel whose expertise lies in porn sites *not microsoft software*.

I suggest repost your message/problems on dedicated newsgroup like:

news://microsoft.public.windowsxp.general

or

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...lt.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general

Unfortunately, these newsgroups have been hijacked by idiots (like Engle,
Randy Bonkers and Robin the cleaner) who wants to discuss third party
products - not Microsoft products -

Hope this helps.
