Hi Michael,
You can open the Paint program in XP
(Start,Programs,Accessories,Paint) and use this to open the file(bmp). Use
save as to save the image as another type. If you want to do some more
advanced manipulation Paintshop Pro is a shareware program or Photoshop is
another option.
