Blurry pictures through internet :(

This has been driving me crazy for a few months now. When I am online, every
single picture (on any site, or emailed to me) is shown in a really low
quality. If I right-click on it, it has the option to refresh in full
quality, which is what I've been doing for a long, long time now :/ I'm
hoping it's something really simple and easy to fix. If any one has any idea,
please let me know.

Hi,

Have you checked if you have the latest version / release of your browser
(presumably Internet Explorer?)

I had the same situation very briefly about a month ago; I don't recall
doing anything to change it so I presumed it was one particular version of
Internet Explorer. (I am using the IE7 Beta's, so I thought it must have
been in one Beta but then removed from the next).

However, I have just realised that the only time it happened was while I was
on holiday, at which point I was connecting to the internet via my mobile
phone on a very slow connection - therefore I'm wondering if there's an
option somewhere which only decides to blur images when you're on a slow
connection...?

This may or may not help, but I thought I'd contribute my wonderings anyway
in case they do.

Peter.

Thank you so much for even responding! I do just have regular dial-up, but I
always have and it just randomly started one day. I'll check (somehow??)
about the updated version of Internet Explorer. I haven't thought about that.
Thanks again :)

If you use any kind of web acceleration software that can cause it to
happen.
