Blurry pictures and splotches around text

I just bought a new computer. An E-machines T3882 with Windows XP. My screen
while on the internet is fuzzy looking. The text seems to have splotches
around it and I can see little squares in the photos on the web pages. I am
guessing they are pixels. With my last computer the pictures were crystal
clear and sharp. How do I get this computer to display my text and pictures
that clear?

Plato. I went to the link you put in your response. Now what? If I right
click on a picture and click on original photo the picture comes up crystal
clear. When I go back to the page it is back to the blurry thing again.

Maybe your ISP has one of those "accelerator" features that caches web page images???\

Are you using an ISP that provides an internet speedup
on a modum connection? The way they do that is to lower
the quality of the pictures contain in a web page.
