I am using an iMate JAM, which uses the MS BT stack. Does anyone have any
idea how I am supposed the change the device assigned to the bluetooth
serial port (port 5). Currently I have to delete the pairing then re-pair
the devices, which is a really crappy way of doing it.

I would really like to do it in code, so I've been poking around in the
registry, but no luck there either.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried what you suggested, unfortunately the device needs a soft reset
before it accepts the changes. I am pretty sure the port is closed when I
make the change, infact if I make the registry change in the desktop
registry editor (from embedded c++) before running my app, I still need to
reset the PDA before the new BT device is accepted as the serial port
device.

Any ideas?
