bluetooth usb adapter

Hi,
Try to connect the bluetooth usb adapter of Belkin type
F8T001 to my laptop presario 2710EA with xp home addition.
When connecting the the adapter to the usb input I am
getting the message " unknown device".Looking in the
device manager under usb connection I see "unknown device".
Please help.

If the device came with a driver disk, you must install the drivers BEFORE
you plug in the device. More that likely, after driver install, you may have
to reboot.
