Not sure what the problem is, I've read through the FAQ's and I have tried
updating the Video Driver and everytime I go to update sound drivers the damn
thing restarts. I cant remember how to update BIOS, if anyone thinks that
could be the solution please refresh my memory on how to do that. Any help is
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium with a AMD Athlon XP 2000+, I have
768 MB of RAM. I also have a RADEON 9600 Series Video card.

I would visit the manufacturer's website of your computer (for example,
HP.com or Dell etc) to look for any Bios updates. I know on HP's website, in
the drivers/download section, I can enter my computer model number and go
straight to a Vista Drivers page, one specifically referenced to my computer
model.

Update EVERY Vista-related driver you find listed for your computer that
requires an update, no matter how trivial. I would also leave your audio
driver for last. It sounds like your system needs stability first and
foremost. I've had some weird times with Vista and audio myself, but I think
if you get all the other drivers in place, you may be able to update your
audio more smoothly.

I hope this helps,....Frank B.

Well I built the computer myself 3 years ago and when I had WinXP Pro the
system started shuting down and restarting itself like it is doing now and
thats why I updated to Vista thinking that would solve the problem. It may be
some hardware going out or failing. Im thinking about just building a new
computer and going from there.
