Blue-screen STOP Error code 1000000a

OS is WinXP Pro.
I have recently been getting Blue-screen STOP errors. Maybe one every 2 or
three days.

Error code 1000000a, parameter1 0000f771, parameter2 00000002, parameter3
00000001, parameter4 806ffa8e.

I think this is sometimes related to a driver problem, but is there any
way of determining which driver (or whatever) might be responsible?

The MS web site info on code 1000000a is far too general to help much.

There has been no hardware added/removed/updated, and no new programs
added (apart from Windows updates).

Thanks for that link. Whilst there is a lot of useful info there, there is
no specific mention of Error code 1000000a. Does code 0000000a apply?

I have followed links etc, and there is plenty info on the GENERAL causes
of Stop Error 0x0000000A (IRQL, incorrect memory address, incompatible
device driver etc) but I still cannot find anything that will help me
identify WHICH driver (or whatever) may be causing the problem.

Maybe I am missing something?

Also, you might want to take a look at Windows Media Player. This is a
little vague in my mind, because it only happened once--I don't remember
where the information came from (I think it was from Microsoft in
connection with Messenger Beta, but I can't swear to it). Go to
Tools-->Plug-Ins and uncheck everything.

Thanks for that. CPU temp might be a possibility as the crashes are
usually late evening when the PC has been on all day. Currently, the CPU
temp reads 50C. I'll see what it is later tonight.
