Blue Screen on install of Unreal Tournament 2004

Can anyone help with problem encountered trying to
install URT 2004. Halfway through install blue screen
comes up with error code 1000007e, parameter1
c0000005,parameter2 edd66553, parameter3 ed617bb0,
parameter4 ed6178b0. Thee error refers to a file called
tfsnifs.sys

Delete all files in you temp folders first? Tried to install without
your 29 background apps running as said to in the install docs?
