Blue screen of death during shutdown

I have been getting this message for 2 weeks now and
don't know where to begin to resolve it.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is
properly installed. If this is a new installation ask
your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows
updates you might need. If problems continue disable or
remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable
bios memory options such as caching or shadowing.

Is there any file given with this error message?

This is a very common error message, relating to a number of issues with
networking, multi-processor PCs and other setups. A filename would be very
useful, if you have one.

Thanks!

TW,

From what you have provided, it looks like something is panic'ing
ntoskrnl.exe during a read operation. Upon reboot, do you get asked to
submit the data to Microsoft? If the issue is a known problem, you should
be prompted with the fix. If it is not a known problem, I would suggest
contacting;

- If you computer is an OEM version: talk to your OEM.
- If you OS is a Retail version: call us here at Microsoft.
- If the above items don't offer a resolution: contact me.

Best regards,

Mike Truitt
