Blue Screen Of Death after computer idles

After my computer (Dell desktop Dimension 4400) has been
idling for about 15 minutes or so, I get the Blue Screen
of Death. I turn the PC off and restart and everything
runs OK uless I let it idle again. This problem is very
repeatable. Any ideas?

open up the power options and check if the 'hibernation '
is on . If so try removing the check mark (disabling the
hibernation). Also in power options, if the standby is set
to a value in minutes try changing to 'never'. Then restart.
Most likely this a "power manager " problem. After the
system is idle for xx minutes the screen saver starts also.
If you have a custom screen saver, that could cause the
problem as well. If you downloaded a screen saver, that file
could have a viral code in it. Change the screen saver
through the display properties (or disable this)
