Is there any easy way to get rid of the irritating and extremely
difficult to workaround blue line that Outlook insists on putting in
every reply? It doesn't even work correctly as a quote indicator, as it
puts the line on inlnie comments as well. This is really a very, very
poor usability decision.
Why would they even do it in the first place? What possible reason is
there for putting a blue line to the left of reply comments?
I can understand Microsoft's embrace and extend philosophy requires
them to ignore the stadnard internet protocol of a > sign and use their
own blue line instead, but why insist on the blue line to the left of
user comments as well?
My search of previous requests seems to indicate that there is no
solution and we must live with it. I can't believe that's true. Someone
must have a solution to this extremely irritating problem.
