blue-ish background I can't get rid of (not the wp look-alike)

hi, a part of the text I typed has a light blue background...
It is barely noticable on screen but when it is printed it obviously is
there...
I checked the background color, tools -> options -> blue background/white
text-thingy etc. etc.
I can't find it anywhere on the internet, neither on message boards nor
through searching on google...
I've seen a simular thing before when I copied a text from the internet but
this is a text I didn't copy and written myself...
please help me as I need to post it to my teacher tomorrow...

It is probably text shading - format > borders and shading.

Thanks a lot! I've looked at the shading before, but not the way you
mentioned it! It's gone now!
Now my teacher won't think I copied the text anymore!
