Blow away IE6.0

I have tried everything to stop the message "iexplorer.exe
has generated errors and will be closed by windows", my
next point of attack is to totally uninstall IE and
install it again from the CD. Can I totally blow it away
(registry, etc) or will it always come back to the last
version installed. I am running win2k pro.

If you have scanned for viruses already, you should also scan for spyware.
There are lot of parasites, which attach to IE and can cause many kind of
problems besides spying your internet activity.
