I don't know what "bloodhound virus" you're referring to, but there is a
backdoor trojan named bloodhound that has been around for quite some
time and most modern and up to date a/v programs will detect and remove it.
I was infected with Bloodhound trojan and believe it has been successfully
removed ie all scans are now negative. However I still have problems with a
couple of internet sites that require passwords eg on line banking. The pages
wont load after the password is entered. All cookies and temporary files have
been deleted. Any suggestions? All other pages are fine. Is this related to
the CHM files mentioned in the Symantec security response?
Depending of course, but once clearing cookies, etc could very well be
playing a part here. In most cases this has to do with the host file(s)
and/or JVM issues. Good luck!
