Blocking / Unblocking Attachments

I have researched the posts but don't see anything simple on this topic. My
co-worker states that he did something simple 2 years ago to block all
attachments in his inbox. Now, he wants to un-block them. Is there a way to
do this without touching the registry?

Thank you.
 
Mary, I am not seeing the option for : "Change auto d/l settings". We run
V2002 here if that helps.
