Blocking newsgroup messages

Under Outlook Express, it was very easy to block newsgroup messages from a
particular poster. Once you blocked the poster, all messages from that
person would disappear as well as all subsequent postings.

Under Vista mail, I don't seem to be able to do that. Vista has provisions
for blocking email messages, but not newsgroup postings. How do I
permanently block newsgroup messages from a particular sender the way I use
to be able to do in Outlook Express?

Rick,

Message
Junk E-Mail
Add Sender to blocked senders list

The 'remove from current display' feature has been deleted, but they will
not show up next time.
Of course that doesn't help with the most egregious offenders who change
their e-mail address constantly. Grrrrrr.

It works for newsgroup posters also.
Right-click on a message, and select Junk E-mail, Add sender to blocked
sender list
It won't remove existing messages from that sender, though.

Click on a newsgroup posting from that sender, then on Message, then on
Create Rule From Message. Click on Delete It and then OK. The messages
from that sender for which you have already downloaded the header won't
disappear, but no more will be downloaded.
