blocking msn messenger installation with group policy .. ?

is it possible to block clients installing msn messenger with group policy
... ?
 
They shouldn't be able to install this if they aren't in the local admins
group. So take them out of that.
 
If they have been installed, you can apply a group policy to disable / prevent
MSN IM in the AD domain. This works only for XP though.
