Blocking HTML content in Outlook 2000

(My apologies if anyone sees this as a repeat post, but it looks like
Google Groups didn't succeed at my previous attempt with posting this.)

Anyway... Is there any way to tweak Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000 to
block external HTML content/images? I know WinXP now includes the
security setting to "Block images and other external content in HTML
e-mail", but is there any way to tweak this in Windows 2000 (preferably
with an option to manually show/block HTML contents in html email, such
as Yahoo Mail does it)?

No.

Outlook Express 6SP2 can block external graphics
Outlook 2002 can be set to display all e-mail as Plain Text through the
registry
Outlook 2003 can block external graphics and display all e-mail as Plain
Text as an option

Is there perhaps some option or add-on available which would mark HTML
messages in message lists with some icon (in the same manner as
messages containing attachments are marked with a paperclip icon)?
