Blocked Files

Tim

I have uninstalled my MP3 software (Zune) as I now have an Ipod.
The music files were left on my PC.
Now I can't import, play, move or delete any of these files or folders which
means I have 32Gb of disk space full of music folder I can't do anything with
and can't delete so that I can start to reinstall.
This is taking up nearly half my available disk space.
How can I delete these files.

Can you uninstall the Zune software?

Also, have you tried deleting the music files via Media Player or Media
Center?

And finally, you might try this newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windows.vista.music_pictures_video

Hi DP
Yes I have uninstalled the Zune software and tjis seems to be the issue
The PC now says that the folder does not exist and that it needs to be
verified before I can move, delete any of the music.
I'll try to use the Media Player route

Thanks
