Block WS from Optaining Ip Adress

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is a way to block a workstation from
optaining an IP address. Thanks very much.
 
Through DHCP?
Are you trying to assign a static IP?

If you don't want to obtain a IP through DHCP (what it sounds like),
just give it a static IP.

Can you provide more info?
 
I have a problem station that I don't want to give any IP address (static or
dhcp). So I wanted to know if I can put something in dhcp that if it sees a
certain mac address it work refuse it an ip address.

Does it even need to be on the network? If not, just unplug the network
cable from the computer.
