BLOCK THE GIF OR IMAGE FILES

Hi,
I had encountered a problem. I wanted to block the
download the gif or image files or allowing to download
only specific file formats so that my browsing will be
easier and faster. Lot of time is consuming and charges
as I am using GPRS network to access the internet.
Please help me out from this problem.

Hi,

Although you can't download images specific formats, you can block the
download of images in the browser.
This you can do in IE by following the steps given below:

1.Open IE and click "Tools" and select "Internet Options".
2.Click the "Advanced " tab.
3.Scroll down the list and under the heading "Multimedia".
4.Uncheck the option "Play videos in webpages" and "Show pictures" and also
"Play animations in webpages".
5.Click OK.

The above settings can improve the browsing speed appreciably.
