Block Netowrk Access

I am in the process of locking down a 2000 workstation via group policy. I
have everything locked down accept for when the user opens notepad. Notepad
is the one executable I need them to have access to. When the user clicks on
save, the user can then type in any server name (\\servername\) and get view
the shares. How do I stop a user from viewing all my network shares using
group policy? There has to be some way to make this work.

I don't think you can. You have to control what they access via Share
Permissions and NTFS Permissions. They can't write to a location that they
don't have "write" permissions to do so.
