On a public PC, I want to avoid users messing with Internet Options settings
and other stuff. On the previous Win 2000 machine, in the Group Policies
there was besides a list of items for Windows Explorer also a list for
Internet Explorer. Using this, I managed to do what I needed.

My new machine has Win XP installed and in the group policies this setting
appears to have disappeared, only Win Explorer settings remain.

Anyone any idea where I can block access to Internet Options in XP?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

i can 't exactly what you mean. you changed your server ?
or using a program such as PolEdit ?
anyway you can do this creating a reg file
----Begin

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Restrictions]
"NoBrowserOptions"=dword:00000001

----End

Can you give us more information please.

OS? and the version of Administration Tools, win2000 or windows server 2003?
