Blinking screen

Hi everyone:
I have a laptop dell inspiron 5150 and its screen always is blinking. Does
anyone now how it can be fixed? I have used the diagnostic tool control
panel>>screen>>config>>advanced>>monitor>>etc,etc., and nothing happens.
