Blinking font

For some reason I can't get one sentence to blink. The "blink" font box is
checked. Is there something that I'm missing or overlooking ??

It doesn't work in all browsers (at least not IE 6.0 that I can see, even
thought its included in FP as a text "effect") I think this is an obsolete
tag, however it *does* work in Firefox 1.0

That's all I've tested it in.
