Blinking Cursor problems

Hello,

I have an XP Pro machine that has a strange cursor. It
appears to be a very fat black cursor. It appears
everywhere, in XP, in office, on the internet, etc. It
took place of the regular cursor. Then, when you
highlight text, the text turns orange. I have tried
everything to restore defaults and nothing has worked. I
have removed every possible program, ran AdAware to try
and detect spyware, and nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a solution, sorry. I actually have the same
problem. I'm working like a mad-man to fix it and have
also unistalled many programs blah blah blah. Have you
found a solution? I would love to help, or team up.

Start/Control Panel/Accessibility Options/Display/Cursor Options/Adjust
Width (Narrow)/Apply/Ok.
