Blaster Worm, Cryptographic and other Errors.

I had the blaster worm, I've established that. I did
everything I was told to fix it... I deleted the
msblaster.exe file from my windows/system32 folder, I
deleted it's entry from the registry, I disabled it's
startup in msconfig, and I downloaded and ran the virus
removal tool from Symantec. The tool said I was virus-
free.

However, I still have several problems:

My computer takes 5-10 minutes to startup now, up from 30-
40 seconds.

I cannot cut/copy/paste any text or files.

I cannot drag files or move them.

I cannot use certain programs, including Windows Media
Player.

When I startup, my start menu and task bar are hidden and
the computer freezes up when any program is used, unless
I use the task manager to end all non-critical processes
first.

I cannot open certain windows, including important ones
like Network Connections (to enable a firewall) and the
properties windows of services (which I need to enable
RPC and Cryptographic services again).

I cannot install the Windows Critical Update that I have
downloaded because whenever I try I get a message saying
that the Cryptographic Service was not enabled.

When I try to start this service I get another error
saying the dependency services failed and I get a similar
error message when I try to restart the RPC service.

I've tried deleting my system32/catroot2 folder to fix
the Crypto problem and that hasn't worked either.

Is there anything I can do to fix the problems this virus
seemingly caused during it's short time infecting my
computer? HELP ME PLEASE!

Disabled the RPC service too, right?

You will need to use your XP CD to boot to the Recovery Console, then type the command:

Enable RPCSS Service_Auto_Start

Then press the Enter key to submit the command. Then type:

exit

and press Return to restart the computer.
