Blank Timeline

So, after I import my clips, I can see them fine in the preview window while
they're still in my collection. But once I move a clip onto the timeline, all
I see is a black screen. This also happens with titles. It's very strange,
because the audio isn't affected.

Maybe the following will help:

Movie Maker 2.1...
Audio but no Video...

It may be because the DV codec in your
system has gone astray...
