Blank Subject Line Alert

Is there a setting in Outlook 11 that can be set to warn a
user when he/she is attempting to send a message with a
blank subject line? I know this is a feature in a
competing prooduct, but not sure if it exists in Outlook.
Been looking in options, both under outlook and when
sending a message, but have been unable to find a setting.

Thanks,
Chris Pollard

Since a message with a blank subject line is perfectly legitimate, why would
you want this?

May I guess... to remind users to provide a subject line, so the recipient
can get a clue what the message is about, when it arrives and for future
reference.

Because most people don't want to send a message without a subject and want
to be reminded if they neglect to add one.

That must have been a time-consuming job to ask "most people". How did you
manage that?

I am looking for the same thing, it's not cool when you send a mail to your manger's manager without a subject line, I just wish it would warn you before it sends it, just like spell check...
