Blank sheets between printed pages

New problem - after I installed SP4 [to enable installing of msblast patch].

Nearly every time I print, a blank sheet is emitted between each printed
page [not every time - but, about 90%].
Even when I select '1 page' to print, out follows a blank page. [great
waste of paper]

This 'problem' has developed since I installed SP4.

Particulars: Dell Dimension 4100, Win2000Pro, HP LaserJet IIIP

I have the same problem with Server 2003 and a LJ5N.
Everything printed from that server prints a FF at the end
even though it's not set to do it. Suggestions would
highly be appriciated.
