Blank page with small icon loads

I often get a blank page with a small icon in the upper left corner that has
a tiny red square, a tiny green circle, and a tiny blue triangle inside the
icon. Other computers can display the page without a problem. sometimes I
can right click and select "Cached snapshot of page" and it will display with
some other info at the top of the page. Sometimes it will display correctly
the first time and then never again. Other times it won't display the first
time I have ever visted a site. I can't find anyone else who has seen this
problem and I believe it is only a problem on my computer. I am running IE 6
with the Google toolbar. Thanks

Per Jim Coates a Newspaper columnist, the newest browser software defaults
Acrobat Reader off to display PDF files. You can restore the setting to on
by finding an Acrobat document and then opening it. RIGHT click on the icon
and then select SAVE TARGET AS command that this summons to make a copy on
your desktop. Now click that PDF open and select EDIT in the toolbar. With
the EDIT command opened, go down to preferences. In the Preferences display,
click on Internet and you will get a set of check boxes including one to
enable (or disable) the opening in the browser feature. You will also see
the checkbox to stop Adobe from making those endless offers to check for
software upgrades. Mine works now.
