Since yesterday my database server does not show any
icons on my desktop. I log on fine but ger a blank
screen. I noticed explorer.exe was not running. I managed
to get it running but running the process remotely. Still
did not resolve it. I found an article on MS website on
this issue. Renamed a file called shdocsvm.dll and
rebooted. It did not resolve the issue. I also renamed a
number of other files that were listed as possible
culprits. Did not resolve the issue. I would like to
know if anyone can tell me how to remote re run SP3. I
think a refresh of the OS files may eliviate the problem
unless someone can give me a different suggestion. I am
desperate please help.
