Black screen when the welcome screen should come up

I just install a Vista Home Premium upgrade on my Dell Dimension 9200.
Sometimes when I leave my PC sit idle and the screen saver should come on, I
come back to the PC and there is a black screen. When I move my mouse or hit
a key on my keyboard to get back to the welcome screen it doesn't do anything
and I have to reboot and go to the Last Know Good Configuation through F8
when I reboot. I think this is this a Vista problem and I was wondering if
anyone has came across this problem and how can it be fixed?

Hi,

You more than likely need Vista compliant drivers, and possibly a BIOS
update. Dell lists several needed updates for that system and Windows Vista
here:
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen
