Hello all,
ok i have made a imge on an hp desktop with xp running sysprep. i then went
to deploy it onto a dell laptop.
after deploying it i get the xp boot logo and then it goes black and sits
there. my guess it has to do with the video drivers. but i have told sysrep
where to find all the drivers etc.. but it doesnt even make it that far in
the process to do pnp.i know if i deploy it back to the model of computer it
was made from that it works perfect.
is there a way to some how change the default video driver it uses to start?
when i do my sysprep i use the following command: sysprep -mini -pnp -quite
-reseal

thanks

Unanswered, type of CPU and video (ATI Radeon or NVIDIA)

Hi jim,
yes the desktop is a crt screen and the dell laptop being lcd.
the video card in the desktops is the intel extream chipset 845X and the
dell its the intel 82852/82855 gm/gm3

both the desktop and the laptop are intel cpu's.

hope this helps.

again thanks

Rob
