black ice vs zonealarm

At the risk of starting a war I am interested in finding out the benefits of
each of BlackIce and Zonealarm. Is there one thing that makes one better
than the other?

I read the review you mentioned below and decided to try the Sygate Personal
Firewall. After I install this program do I turn off the XP firewall? Will
it also replace Ad-Aware for spyware?

Turning off the XP firewall would be a good idea once you have a new new
installed.

Yes. The new one will be doing the work (and more) - no need to do it
twice.
