Does anyone know how or if you can set the Color scheme to Black and set it
as new default....don't like the blue and its a pain to reset everytime you
open Microsoft 2007. Thanks.

Hi Kellie,

Is this on a work or home machine? If it's a work machine, it's possible that you may not have the necessary permissions for the
Office2007 color scheme that your company selected to be changed in the registry, where the setting is stored.

The setting under Office Button=>Word Options=>Popular
should normally 'stick'.

Thanks Bob,
It is a work machine and I have administrative privileges...however, we are
hosted through a Virtual Office (administrator also)..They don't seem to have
the answer and suggested I check with Microsoft. Each station should be able
to keep the simple settings. We hide the ribbon for memory loss and put the
quick tool bar under the ribbon for convenience....but those simple settings
don't "stick" either. Eerrrgggg! If you think of something, please let me
know. Thanks again.
