Black Backgrounds on PNG files

Hi

Can anyone shed any light on why sometimes (depends on what laptop or
pc) that PNG files with transparent files show a black background -
other times it has a transparent background?!

I normally trace around in Photoshop and save as a png file - insert
as picture in to PowerPoint (images always converted to RGB.

Try running Scan Disk and Defrag your hard drive. I can
almost guarantee that'll do the trick!

Are all the laptops/PCs up to date on Office SRs and patches?

Seems that turning color management profiles off in PhotoShop may help.
