BitDefender AV (freeware)

Has anyone used this? I found it through a Google search for AV software and
after installing it for a test, ZA said it wanted to be a server. (Free use
of your computer?) It is from Romania--I think?

I'm not familiar with this one, but for personal use you can download AVG
antivirus for free:

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php

I've used this to clean a bunch of viruses. No problems whatsoever.
Recommended.

I have been using AVG 6.0 but started having problems with it. I did a
Google search for free AV software and BitDefender was one that showed up.
