BIOS

Hi Guys
Can some one plz help me out. I have a dell labtop I want
to disable the sound card in BIOS setup but I don't have
any setting that will allow me to do that. Plz if some one
knows how to do that let me know. Thanks

You will have to read the notebook manual and find out how to enter the
BIOS. It's a keypress on startup; but exactly which key to press varies
from PC to PC. If you have lost the manual, a new one can probably be
downloaded from the Dell website.. www.dell.com

Hi cari
Thanks for the prompt answer. However I do know hot to
enter the setup by pressing the del key, but there is no
setting to disable the sondcard. Thanks again

That's an issue you need to take up with Dell.

Perhaps if you post the model number, someone else who has the same model,

Hi Mike
Actually it's a good Idea but as I heard from some of my
friend they don't have the abbility of disabling the
device on system board. But I'll Call Dell and see what
they say but they Charge 35$ just to answer a simple
question. thanks again.
