I have a lcd monitor with dvi input. Problem is the lcd requires a
resolution of 1024x768. Until windows takes over the screen is gibberish. I
do see an initial 1280x1024 & then gibberish. I think if I could get the
bios to run the screen in 1024x768 the lcd would be ok. However, I am in the
dark on how/if that can be done. Anyone got any ideas? TIA

Id say contact your motherboard's manufacturer. Also, what is this
gibberish you talk of? Random characters all over? Try reinstalling
your vga drivers, or even reinstalling BIOS.
